How did you feel about Alex's death? Rather abrupt, but then death can be abrupt, and I expect they filmed it the way they did to avoid reshooting with Cas Anvar. I liked it, actually. We're told that these "hard burns" and fancy maneuvers are dangerous, but they've done so many - you can only risk your life so many times before you lose it. And he died a hero, saving Naomi. I'll miss you, Alex. Too bad it appears they're setting up an Earther (Bull) to be his replacement. The crew is now one Belter and the rest Earthers.
